It was back in the early seventies, when I was living in the commune in upstate New York. To pass the time during the long, cold winters, and maybe make a little money besides, wed gotten into crafts making. You know, macrame plant holders, batiked skirts, tie-dyed t-shirts, handmade candles, and the like; the typical sixties-style crap that gave the term cottage industry its bad name. No, we didnt make any money from it, but none of us wanted to get real jobs.
We were looking for some help on locating the best towns (or craft shops) in the New England & New York area for purchasing handmade candles. We are especially interested in ornate (non gaudy) candles made by local craftsmen/women. Nothing prefab/manufactured. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please post a reply if you have any suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated!!!
Yessir, absolutely, did you want to see our incense, weve quite a selection of aromas to choose from, or were you more in the market for a nice set of handmade potholders--I mean, uh--
Handmade Scented Candles, an excellent choice for the holiday season. Dropship, small quantities okay, Excellent choice for; craft shows, candle parties, fundraising, retail stores.
If you enjoy the light and scent produced by a quality handmade candle then, you owe it to yourself to at least look at what we have cooked up in the last few days. When spring comes around we enjoy brightly colored and scented candles burning at night to relax after a hard days work.
